It's been a while since our last major update, and we’ve just completed an important upgrade to the forum.
The platform we were using has been unmaintained for a couple of years, which meant no security updates, outdated PHP, and the lack of mobile support and other critical features. Given the circumstances, staying on the old software was no longer an option, so we’ve migrated to Flarum, which is the successor to FluxBB.
I hope this update resolves some of the issues you’ve had with the previous platform. While there are a few aspects of the new system that I’m not entirely satisfied with, this change was necessary for security and stability.
Some things to note:
- By default, your email will be visible to logged-in users. If you don't want that you can edit the "Public Email" field in your profile.
- We no longer support private messages. If you want to be contacted, please keep your email in your profile.
- If you are having a hard time signing in, send me an email (admin@...com) and make sure to mention your username.
