It's been a while since our last major update, and we’ve just completed an important upgrade to the forum.

The platform we were using has been unmaintained for a couple of years, which meant no security updates, outdated PHP, and the lack of mobile support and other critical features. Given the circumstances, staying on the old software was no longer an option, so we’ve migrated to Flarum, which is the successor to FluxBB.

I hope this update resolves some of the issues you’ve had with the previous platform. While there are a few aspects of the new system that I’m not entirely satisfied with, this change was necessary for security and stability.

Congratulations to the LebGeeks Family for this major update!
Keep up the good work @samer!

I love the new look and the features this new update holds.

Amazing news! Thank you for your continuous efforts. Plus finally we can "like" now 👏.

Thank you Samer for all your hard work.

@samer I cant change the profile pic to the one i had recently. Gives me this error:

Thank you, Samer (and Admins) for the new design, may I suggest the following GUI tweaks?

      • The listing page (https://lebgeeks.com/forum/) should have a bigger size of the listing items, right now the list is taking much less screen space compared to the old design (title font size, give more space to the central list...)
      • The date part of the list should be bigger and more distinct/clear, it takes now a bit more time to recognize how old (or new) a specific post is.

      Thank you

@xterm what do you think of the v3?

      • Look & Feel
      • Functionalities
      • LebGeeks 4eva?

      What about ordered list?

      1. one
      2. two
      3. three

      Conclusion

      PRETTY!!!! Congrats Lebgeeks :emoji:

      Supports image resize as well.

samer Hi, I love the new look!

There is an issue where I wasn't able to remove or edit one of my posts that I posted prior to the recent update. It seems stuck and I get only the reply button when I hover on it. Please advise as it is very outdated and I actually prefer to delete it as it's irrelevant by now.

Screenshot of the post with mouse hover on it:

Pugan This is the expected behavior. Posts can be edited until a reply is added to the thread.
I realize now that this might be suboptimal for threads like "sell your stuff" where editing old posts is important. I'll try and think of an alternative. Thanks for pointing it out!
