Techlover wroteOk thanks.
By the way, i asked aramex sns support if i can ship a power bank to their china address; they said i can't ship it to Lebanon.
Are the procedures of customs with Libanpost different from those with aramex,dhl,... ?
I have no idea :/
But I think it should be the same.

Yes, same thing happened with Borderlinx, importing Lithium batteries is prohibited (same as perfumes, sex toys...etc)
Come on !
I can't understand what would be the problem with a power bank. You can ship a phone with a battery inside but no power bank !
A big amount of lithium battery can cause an explosion in planes, they are afraid that you will buy several ones
Hello. I am ordering soon a dental rinse (same size as a Listerine bottle lets say) from a site in the US called iherb.com Considering the item is only 0.64kg with the packaging and costs 10$,the shipping fees on the site are 6$ for Airmail Premium and 4$ for regular Airmail.

What i am concerned about is the duty fees if any applied to my item once it arrives here. The site gives some rules and regulations regarding the destination of the product and it gave this for Lebanon :

Customs rules: Orders more than 60$ will be charged for a clearance fee that may fluctuate between 100$ to 250$ and less than 60$ will be charged for 25.85$ as a total customs fees (clearance + VAT + overtime customs) Personal experience caution: do not order a lot of products or they may hold the order.

Reading some of the posts above, i dont see any minimum cost at the duty office to pay for shipped items from USA so if anybody can help me now to know if such an item as mine is taxable or not.
I think Airmail and Airmail Premium are as USPS if i am not wrong so my item should not be taxable right ?

Thank you.
USPS does not mean non taxable.
I had to pay 40$ for a 160$ package once.
You can never know if you will pay customs until you order it.

Just checked my order again and the tracking number for my Airmail Premium choice sent me to FedEx International Mail Service. Hope they wont charge me with taxes when it arrives here considering Mail Service comes in an envelope and the item is only 10$ worth.

FedEx took 10% for my order total last time I used them 14$ exactly on a 140$ package.
But I read that there is law that anything under 200,000LL is non taxable. Not sure though.

Just a small note, ebay no longer requires payments via paypal.. Now you can use your credit/debit card directly without having a paypal account.
wow thank you M0ei for the tip, this is great news :D
@m0ei i tried to buy something from ebay right now. you are redirected to a paypal page where you have the choice to pay without registering but you have to specify a country and lebanon is not on the list, so i think ebay is still not an option.

I tried as well, Paypal is still the main option, I tried different items from different sellers, some have the Credit Card option but it is greyed out (at least for me).

So I am seeing this new shipping option on Aliexpress."Shipped via Aliexpress Standard Shipping" anyone tried it?
hkbazzi wroteSo I am seeing this new shipping option on Aliexpress."Shipped via Aliexpress Standard Shipping" anyone tried it?
Yeah. I tried it. It was pretty good. They're fast & they give you a tracking number outside China(similar to the china post number but a faster service )(other than the one with detailed tracking info inside china which isn't trackable internationally). So i felt the speed of delivery is close to HongKong Post which is generally good.

Not faster than HongKong post.
It was similar . No more than 3-4 weeks since ordering
Had anyone used a shipping service which is trackable on mtytrack.com ? Maybe it's name is mty
any feedback ?
Two more questions :
had anyone noticed that mail with non trackable numbers outside china takes forever after reaching Lebanon ?
& is singapore post super slow these days?
