As i have read 200$ is the limit, but im not sure if they may tax you or not because of the large packaging box. They may price it to what they think it really costs and make you pay. Is on aliexpress anyway?

personally, this happened to me one time. they left it at the door step even though the concierge was there. i think it actually depends on the delivery guy.
A.L I advise you not to buy the quadcopter.
Last time I bought 4 helicopters WL Toys V911 and I had to go to the airport.
1st trip we checked the package with libanpost
2nd trip An aviation expert had to check if these toys with 5 minutes fly time can be used for spying.
3rd trip was to go to customs to pay 50.000 so they release the package and give it to me.

There was one or two trips between the 3 above where I went down for no reason... the expert didn't show up etc...

So yea it was a hassle. So if you can just ship it to someone who can put it in his checked luggage and get it to you it would be much easier.

Anyways this was back in July 2014, and it was my 6th and biggest shipment of helicos ($159.60) and didn't retry after that experience (After I bought the first one all my colleagues at work wanted). So if you do make the order let me know what happens. These helicopters are the best.

Sellers take that into consideration, don't they all wrap things diligently, even steel items, I never got a broken item. But hm glasses, just ask them for extra wrapping.
Okay, about the fake swiss post, here's an update, Like i said the parcel reached turkey from china, in less than 30hours, however from turkey to Lebanon, it is still in transit for 5 days.

Yes i opened a couple, they usually give your money back, they're just employees in stores and not patrons, they don't care. Sometimes contacting the seller is enough, he sent me a replacement that was ok.
Sometimes they try to fake things, fake tracking, fake products, if you have pictures and your cause is strong, you'll win.
Worst case is, seller wins, he must have a proof of the product delievered to you. This is most likely where you get a fake product, a low quality product, a broken one, etc.
It's very unlikely that you lose your money and not receive anything.

Yes actually it's prolly just an employee who won't fight back, never thought of it... Anyways my case is that it has been 19 days (+4 to ship before order got automatically canceled) without any tracking information showing up (postNL) and i contacted online chat support and they recommended i open dispute... The seller just rejected and said that i should "please" wait because it's still in transit. I gave them a 2 day chance before i escalate things quickly. Also included convo of seller agreeing on a full refund.

About unlikely losing my money, support guy assured me this won't happen, since i directly asked about the worst case scenario, and added that they work really continuously hard on giving customers the best experience on AE blah blah.

if item delivered, broken, you have clear pics, and you escalate, Ali Express gives you 2 options, return the item and get 100% refund or get 50% refund without returning the item
I never had to returnanything, and glad i had not, seen the prices of individual/personal freight services... in fact, i rarely get defect items.
Even then, contacting the seller, he's pleased to send a replacement. No need for dispute.

Aha. Just today i spoke to support and they told me they adjusted dispute to urgent raising its priority... How much on average does the refund take time to happen?

The seller Im having a dispute with has a score of 97.x % feedback with those jewels. I don't know why would they do such thing.
