Hybrid wroteCan someone pay in LBP ? If they are returning to lebanon (doesn't live abroad).

If yes, how much would it cost?
The mandatory PCR test in Beirut airport is paid as part of your ticket and not separately.

If you mean other PCR Labs in lebanon, then yes you pay LBP (150,000)
Ah ok, i thought it's separate, thanks

I think you are talking about this
Any idea how much it costs? Or is it for free?
  • If you wanna just buy an already built one, you can also check dell.ca deals

Guitaret wrote@Pugan, thanks for sharing, I almost felt standing in your shoes.
I am leaving soon and looking forward for the new experience, but I have one question:
I am leaving to Georgia (escale in Turkey first), is it possible that I get a 1 way ticket?
I don't know when I am coming back and I don't want to purchase a ticket for nothing but people keep telling me that security will not like the absence of a return ticket, what do you think? Should I risk it and get only a 1 way ticket?
Hi there! Did you get your visa or not yet?
It doesn't need a visa fro Lebanese, I just want to know if I am obliged to purchase a return ticket.
Get a refundable one, buy it, print an itinerary, cancel it, get your money back. If asked by the security, show them the itinerary.
  • Same, please let us know when you're going to leb
  • I put my entire desktop pc in my luggage (Except the hard drive) when i was travelling to lebanon.
I wrapped the pc with bubble wraps which you can buy from any $1 shop, then i put a fluffy pillow in the bottom and top of the pc, and on the sides i put some clothes.

Also note, in Canada the voltage is 110v 60hz, make sure your power supply supports that. In my case i had to leave it in Lebanon since it was only 220v
  • Yep yep, i can queue again, it's just weird I got banned, I didn't do anything and still don't know why it happened

anyway all is good. Thanks guys.
  • I know SGBL take $15 once you receive the money, then $2 per month, and $6 when you withdraw or some percentage if the amount is big (2% or so, not sure)
  • Doesn't seem like it was recently hacked, there's nothing in the history except the game i played in the morning. My steam account is over 15 years old.

Someone in the chat mentioned that someone probably reported me for dying a lot, WTF is that stupid rule, how is someone supposed to learn how to play the game. Anyway, doesn't matter much. I'll move on to something else.
  • Hello experienced gamers,

Anyone knows how can i find why i'm banned on dota2?

I haven't played online games in so many years. So Couple of days ago, I decided to download steam and check whatever games I can play. I found dota2 (never played dota before), and BAM few games later I'm banned for several hours, and I have no idea why! I didn't disconnect from any game and didn't even talk to anyone.

I tried googling but really didn't find anything helpful in my case. Last game I played was unranked turbo if that helps in any way.

How does that ban thing work? Can i see why i was banned?

  • Thanks Guitaret,

Any idea how long flat lead-acid battery would last, assuming I'm using them everyday?

And yes it would be great if you can send me the the place from where you bought the aps/batteries
  • Guitaret wroteI have done my research and yeah it is a big topic and there are many ways to achieve it, if you want long term solution you will have to add solar panels to your system and there are simple and cheaper ways to do so. You don't need a full solar system with a 5000$ (and up) budget.

If you don't want solar, and you want an inverter system that is depending on the grid electricity to charge it, I can help you out in this one as well.
Before that, please answer me this, do you want your APS to last 9 hours straight with full 1100 watts consumption?
Try to give the proper number because the cost heavily depends on your parameters.
I'd say, on average the consumption will be 600W, but can go up to 1100.

I only have a small balcony, so not sure how much solar panel can help in this case?

I prefer nuclearcat approach with batteries, even if it's gonna take several hours to recharge, but not sure how many batteries would I need and where to buy an APS from?
  • With all the powercuts going on, I'm looking for a way to have at least 8~9 hours power a day, for just a fan and TV really, probably 220V, 5A should do it.

I'm guessing I'll need an APS and some kind of a battery(s).

Any idea who sells something like that, or if there's a different way to achieve this?
  • tricky wroteBank of Beirut contacted me and told me I should go to the branch and sign BDL circular 158, I told them I don't want to benefit and they told me there are "other" papers am required to sign. Anybody had a similar experience and knows what those "other" papers are?
Some banks are asking you to sign this:

Basically telling their clients that they aren't responsible in case they stopped paying you
  • Are the banks giving $400 fresh yet? Is there some hard to get conditions?
  • Trading doge absolutely, investing no. At the end of the day doge has unlimited supply, and 3 wallets hold half of the available doge. Same goes for Shiba and safemoon. Just couple of weeks ago, UNI would show you a huge message to proceed with caution when buying Shiba.

I believe the meme coins are a great way to bring new money into the market, specially from people who just heard about it in the news and have no idea what or how crypto works. When or if the alt season is over and the market is bearish, doge and shiba will be the first to fall.

As for btc floating numbers, I do agree it sounds annoying, but you can calculate that in sats, eventually wallets and people will be dealing with sats instead of btc.

It's called FUD. Dips and corrections happen in a bull run. Crypto goes in cycles based on BTC dominance and BTC halfing. It's still the wild west.

Eventually BTC will lose some dominance and other coins will have their own cycles. When the market dips, everything is on sale for the long teme investors. It's not gonna stop. It's gonna get pushed into high gear.

Either join in or be upset when you missed the boat time and time again. You got as much chance of crypto going away as you do the internet going away.
There's a difference between trading and investment. While I agree any investment in crypto right now is a great win in the long term, trading is a totally different game, you can lose a whole bunch of money even if the market cap is on the rise.

  • I just have a question, how do you guys mine with all the powercuts? You have a UPS for internet and pc and you mine on power generators as well?
