one of the worst things in firefox is when you click a link in a chat window or document it opens it onto an already open browser causing you to lose information ... i was attaching a HUGE file anc clicked a linked and i had to restart ...
mazen, firefox is open source, you could do anything you want with the source, and i'm pretty sure you could find an extension that solves this problem.
and btw, why didn't you post this in the other firefox topic ?
same problemo here!
yal i'll try to learn how to fix.
Their is a customizable extension called Tabbbrowser Preferences
I'm using it, its perfect
well can anyone provide us with a direct link ?
thanx
Ok For Example when using Hotmail in Firefox or Opera i can't use the smileys tool and the Text Editing :?
thats not because of firefox, its just like zhen downloading windows updates...u can only do that with explorer
Maybe it's an Active X Issue what do you think guys?

Never had this problem.
It usually opens in the same window, unless you specify "open in a new windows" or "open in a new tab" in both cases it does not ovewrite anything, but opens in a blank window/tab.
Maybe it's a bug in your version and you should update?
i'm talking about external links.... not links within the browser

It is an active x problem + I dunno if you guys know but hotmail discriminates against opera, and if a person is using an opera browser then it sends the wrong/corrupt data.
I am pretty sure that you all updated FireFox to version 1.04. Anyhow, I noticed a little problem. Instead of showing the ASCII codes (é, ç, ü,...) "" is being shown instead.
Did anyone else notice that?
