thx
well if this is what u mean, this is the email of the forum moderator he is basically the guy who developped the software: bluethought@http-tunnel.com
Hey sami002, welcome to the site. How come the site is blocked??
his ISP blocked it, mine did too, but i downloaded it throught a CGI proxy.
lol Samer is acting as a teacher now =P you know why ;)
go to this address and download it:
http://www.dergham.com/temp
Thanks Rolf. I downloaded it, I thought I could use it for "SoulSeek" and "DC++". I didn't knew that it only works on some programs.

bleh
Thanks Rolf. I downloaded it, I thought I could use it for "SoulSeek" and "DC++". I didn't knew that it only works on some programs.
It does work on most of the programs. If the program does not directly support SOCKS proxies (like kazaa), then you can do a little magic with another program called sockscap and it will work.
Why did I say "most of the programs" not "all" then? Because some rare programs mess up when you try to use sockscap with them.

The free version doesnt provide enough bandwidth for kazaa and the likes , it can maximum support IM's .
can any1 teach me how to use it plz :oops: coz it's not connecting the way it should...
no problem
Launch the http-tunnel NG, wait until you see "connected" at the bottom of the window, then, in kazaa, options, firewall, check "SOCKS firewall" and put firewall address 127.0.0.1 or localhost and port 1080.
Disconnect kazaa then reconnect, and open http-tunnel ng in the "status" window, you should see new connections appearing, that's kazaa trying to connect.
Tell me where it goes wrong. And if tell me if you're trying to make it work with another software.
I can't connect !
<22 : 54 : 23> Starting HTTP-Tunnel, waiting for client to connect
<22 : 54 : 28> Init failed: HTTP Error: 403.
<22 : 54 : 28> Unable to Retrieve information from the Server.
First, make sure that you are not using a proxy to surf the web. If you're using a proxy, then you must setup http-tunel with the proxy address and port.
in internet explorer: tools->internet options->lan settings
and tell me what you see
If it's not that then it may be a block
From the http-tunnel website:
==============================
My service isn't working, did my ISP block HTTP-Tunnel.com servers?
HTTP-Tunnel.com has numerous servers hosting HTTP-Tunnel's services. The first test to see if your ISP has blocked our address/domain name is to check whether you can surf to the HTTP-Tunnel web site. Assuming that you are reading this from HTTP-Tunnel.com, you must have passed that test. Furthermore, if you wish to test your connection to each of the individual servers, visit the Server Status Page and click on all of the servers.
By clicking on the above link, you should see the message "Connection test succeeded, HTTP-Tunnel should work fine". This is a connection directly to our server software.
Also please try to surf our web site via https://www.http-tunnel.com. People have suggested to us that even though their ISPs have blocked http to our servers, secure http is still available. The web page may be available if you try to access it this way, but you will still be unable to use HTTP-Tunnel itself.
==============================
These are links to connection tests for every http-tunnel server, try to open them in your browser to see which one your ISP blocked.

"Automatically dedect settings"... Actually my IP is blocked from HTTP-tunnel website. Is that the problem?
Try to open the "connection test" links in my last post. When you open a link it should show you a page with:
"Connection test succeeded, HTTP-Tunnel should work fine"
If that doesnt work on any of the links then the http-tunnel servers are blocked (probably by your ISP) and there's probably nothing we can do to make it work.
Tell me what happens.
Forget bout HTTP-Tunnel, use Your-Freedom from my xp, it's my better
