Hello
I have been em barged with the challenge of restoring old photographs. most of the photographs are damaged and no two alike. hence, i cant use macros for automating contrast and color recalibration.
my questions are for any of you who have restored old and damaged photographs:
- what tools did you use?
- what did you caliberate?
- how did you compensate for partially or totally damaged images?
- what steps did you take?
- etc
hoping to good comments and hints.
I use Photoshop. I bought a course on DVD that was all about restoring images. Worked out pretty awesomely. You see, a lot of us here know how to use software like Photoshop, but we don't know the dirty tricks, which can be amazing sometimes. If you can send me a sample image you're restoring, I can send you the relative course.
