Just got a Blackberry

Bold 9000. Wonder what to do with it.

I'm in France, so high speed Wifi exists and 3G is an option.

Basic apps I was interested in (Gmail notably) need 3G and do not work with Wifi. Opera Mini is faster to load a page, yet somehow the cursor moves slower (!!) inside it. Too heavy on RAM ?

I am looking for interesting free apps if anyone know any. I am also wondering if there are paying apps that are worth buying.

I wonder if I should get a 3G connection (which are considerably more expensive). I am also downloading the SDK, I'm wondering what program to code (it's Java right?)

Anyway, if anyone has answers to my questions, I'm listening ...

Buy Shazam, it's pretty useful if you're into music.

If you could figure out how to configure the settings for a proxy that uses NTLM for authentication (that's what AUB requires you to use for their WiFi) or any proxy for that matter, I would be grateful!
