Still, I have seen benchmarks, it seems that Flash is the fastest among HTML5, SVG, Canvas, Java and Silverlight (but with HTML5 faster then Flash in Chrome on Linux, owing to the speed of Chrome and the slowness of Flash on Linux)

EDIT: that didnt include GWT as shown in the previous link...
