Nexus One and Alfa wap?

I have a Nexus One for about 3 weeks already and I absolutly love it, so many customisations,ROMs,3D games...
Now the N1 doesn't download automatically internet settings from networks, we have to create APN.
I have used the old good wap.mic1.com.lb settings , I can see a 2G or even G icon appearing on statusbar but nothing can use the Wap :(
I tried the internal browser, Opera mini 5, weather app but without success.
I called Alfa and they pretend Wap will not work on Android phones but only GPRS so go convert from prepaid to fixed line!!
I am pretty sure somehow that we can use wap like iphone lebanese users did.
There are some settings that Alfa doesnt want to give like:
-MMSC
-Server
-MCC
-MNC

Also it looks like MMS settings are included in the same APN because there are:
MMS Proxy
MMS Port
