OK We will have 3D ready TVs in Lebanon even though they EXPENSIVE but i don't think it will perform well on general.WHY??? Well because you obviously all now is because the expensive shutter glasses that are gonna be around 90$ but Sony is gonna bundle it with their TVs. On the other hand Toshiba rocks on its side of the world with CELL powered 3D TV and yes not ready but 3D + conversions from 2D to 3D :
Toshiba ZX900 series features:
* Fast Cell TV processor
* Full array LED back-light with local dimming
* 3D compatible
* 2D to 3D conversion system
* 480Hz refresh rate
* Built-in 1TB hard disk
* Built-in Blu-ray player
* 802.11 Wi-Fi capability
* Video phone capability
* Interactive capability with possible content partners including Netflix, Vudu, CinemaNow and Pandora
* Wireless transmission between TV and base station
* Detachable sound bar
* RF remote control
since the lebanese love (mazaher well tejgeel) i am sure you will see a lot in lebanon
Any way sony has made a real 3d screed capable of displaying real 3d object from any side so i think it is only a matter of years before these screens enter the market
Sony will release them in summer also at the same time an update for PS3 first for 3D games then Blu-ray 3D movies.
cool maybe i will buy one in 2020

Exactly...... But it will cost like over 2000$ now and you know we Lebanese dont care about CE(Consumer Electronics).
i don't know why im not excited about 3D , maybe because so far it is very annoying for my eyes.
yeah and like 20% wont recognize it LOL.
@Everyone
Acer's GD235HZ 23.6-inch 3D display is ready for your glasses-equipped exploits
You could say 3D has hit the mainstream computer today (or something similarly bombastic and partially untrue), as Acer has just released its GD235HZ 120Hz LCD, specially prepped for working with NVIDIA's 3D Vision active-shutter glasses system. The 23.6-inch, 16:9 display retails for $399, and while it's going to be great for 3D gaming for the next few months until you grow bored of Avatar and frustrated by Left 4 Dead 2, the 1920 x 1080 resolution is going to really come in handy once the first crop of 3D Blu-ray movies starts hitting. Of course, the NVIDIA 3D Vision kit is sold separately for $199, and requires a compatible NVIDIA card, but that's a small price to pay for total spatial immersion, right? PR is after the break.

Alienware now shipping 23-inch OptX AW2310 1080p 3D monitor
Just a hunch here, but we're guessing that Alienware's CES stash all hit the production line at right about the same time. During the past day, we've seen the company's M15x, M17x and OptX AW2310 hit the shipping stage, the latter of which is the firm's first-ever 3D monitor. Checking in at 23-inches and boasting a full 1080p panel, this one also packs a 3 millisecond response time, 120Hz refresh rate and stereoscopic support when NVIDIA's GeForce 3D Vision Kit is utilized. It's up for order right now at $469, but if you follow that Logicbuy link down there, you'll be able to snag it (for a limited time) for $449.10. Too bad that 3D kit will set you back another $200, but hey, no one said that witnessing the third dimension was cheap. Or remotely interesting. But mostly cheap.

I think the lebanese should stick to LED lol.

note more pixels will be added soon
much bigger screen capable of showing all types of computerized 3d objects

Awesome Lol.
with my ps3 and excessive gaming habbit, defenitly i am for the sony 3d screen, in my own humble opinion, 3d gaming will rule, you can also check the net for some pictures that sony showed where existing ps3 games were running 3d, and it looked fine, especially racing and shooting games.
Do anyone know how much is a 26 inch or 32 inch 3d led tv(sumsung) would cost outside lebanon?

don't know about these sizes, but the 55inch in UAE is 4900$
Thanks guys the websites really helped.

Are you share it's a tv not a projector because I remember that I saw the same thing with a close price but it was a projector, if it's a tv how large is it?
I actually wasnt interested so didnt see the size.
About the price, what do you guys expect?
Remember when the
HD technology went into production how much did a TV cost?
What about LED TVs?
What about Blu-rays?
(list goes on..)
Each new technology starts with a high starting price.
That's why we have innovators and pioneers.
may be a type of market skimming.
LCD 3D in Europe are just 40% more expensive than actual LCD so meaning a 32'' Samsung 1080p that cost now 550$ will be at 800$ in 3D version. Also if you don't need 3D screen the prices of ''2D'' Tvs will fall about 150 to 200$ each, so in our exemple of 32'' 1080p Samsung it could fall to 400$ in Christmas!
Anyway I think to really enjoy 3D bluray movies the bigger the screen is the best 3D experiment you will feel
With the PS3 we can enjoy games and movies in 3D.
