Killing in the name of art

There's an artist, Nathalia Edenmont, who kills cats, mice, doves, rabbits, and other animals, mutilates their bodies, and then takes their photographs. She's on exhibit, among other places, at the Wetterling Gallery in Sweden. She has taken the top halves of five white mice and made them into finger puppets. She beat a cat to death with a stick. And this is called art. This is not only inhumane, but morally reprehensible.

Re: Killing in the name of art

hmmm well it's still better than this guy (forgot his name) who just kept a dog to starve to death and the exhibition was to actually watch the dog die from starvation live.

and for creepy things there was also a bunch of soviet scientists who were doing some experiments on animals. they were chopping off the heads of dogs and trying to keep the head alive without the rest of the body. i'll try to find the videos again...

[edit]
found my weirdo soviet scientists...

1st one: making a dog's head stay alive without its body:

2nd: transplanting the head of one dog to the body of a second one (so the dog has 2 heads now) and stay alive and eat and all:

3rd one: reviving a dead dog:

Re: Killing in the name of art

you piece of sadist zgerteweh who likes to watch blood and horrible stuff...

i want to cut the guy's head off and stick it in some other place and then put a revived dog head instead of his head (the dog head will be more useful) and then i want to starve him to death, till he start eating **** from his original head that is stuck in that other place and put it on you tube .. all this in the name of Knowledge of course

Re: Killing in the name of art

there's no blood in the video, and they are all from the soviet union era, so bad quality video
but other than that, when i started reading "i want to cut the guy's head off and stick it..." i thought/hoped the end of the sentence would be "on a lollipop"  THAT would be creepy
