I have a question for Ogero ADSL customers,
How much is your latency in online games (EU) on average?
Is your ping stable or all over the place?
Does opening something like Instagram or Facebook on your phone while gaming make your latency jump up considerably, and cause you to lag?
karimo wrotei have a weird dsl issue that appears at about 2:30pm almost every single day where the connection becomes unstable (disconnect every roughly 30 minutes) and speed drops from ~13mbps to 4-5mbps

note: i have almost same dsl line stats (SNR, attenuation, etc) when it is unstable and when it is stable

ive emailed ogero like 4 times and they sent technicians 2 times and both insisted on coming early (before 2:30, when the issues start) and theyve been of no help
Me too, for years it was stable, but the instability of the cnx begins after the explosion of beirut.
I live in amsheet.
Even many of my friends and people that I know have the same issue, live in Mount Lebanon , the cnx goes down randomly during the day especially in weekend.
Called them multiple times, the answer was everything is fine.

Latency is somewhere in the late 60s usually sometimes in the late 80s. Facebook and Instagram causing lag depends on how much speed you have and if you are uploading something or not. Upload is too slow in Lebanon unless you have VDSL.
So a little over a month ago Ogero installed the fiber box in my building, and since then been asking them when/how I can get started on Twitter DMs, all they say is that they will activate when they can, whatever that means. They still havent given me a straight answer. Anyone know what I should do? Or perhaps what i should do to get them to begin?

Note: After Ogero installed the fiber box in my building, another fiber cable has been deployed as well (This is for the NON Ogero subscribers, maybe GDS)

Anyone has a clue why 2 cables have to be deployed (one for Ogero and one for other vendors)?

I ran a feasibility test on my line and it came up with 17 Mb as result, but I'm just trying to know if my latency will be low and stable if I ever decide to go with Ogero ADSL, I'm currently with Terranet and my ping is 100 at lowest and very unstable so if I load something like a YouTube video my ping shoots way up, and not to mention trying to download something while gaming.

On the other hand my friend has stable 70 ms at all time, and it doesn't go up even if people are downloading large files and updating games on his network while he's gaming, so I'm just confused.

Well I don't "Know" but I can speculate that since they kept that rule for all of summer, when there's no schools at all, they'll keep it for the next coming months since school will start, corona is increasing, and online teaching will be back...

Hello, I have the unlimited quota 4MB package;
And whenever I upload, the internet will turn to shit until the upload is done.
I can't browse nor do anything download-related.
It's been going for a while now but it's becoming more and more annoying.
Notes that video call/audio call doesn't affect it (I'm no network expert but it may be something related to TCP protocol since UDP is not causing the problem?)
Anyone facing the same issue?

I know, the problem is that when uploading the download is dead; ping when gaming goes up to 1second and can't even browse google.
Everything you do requires both download and upload. Especially when gaming you can't have your upload being fully used and expect ping to stay in acceptable range. It's pretty normal I guess. Downloading also requires you to send requests and receive them, you're having problems sending these requests because your upload is capped to maximum. In my case if I'm downloading I can't upload properly. And well browsing requires uploading to an extent too. Check your snr margin and attenuation on your upload in the modem settings just to make sure there is no other problem lying in there but from where I see it it's mostly that your upload is too slow to handle more than one thing at a time.
I have the unlimited speed 200GB plan.
My download speeds can reach 15mbps. The upload is by definition, on any regular DSL, limited to 1mbps.

However recently I have been noticing lots and lots of issues with my connection:
-On ogero router's wifi, most of the phones connect but display "no internet" and nothing works. A reboot of the router sometimes work, sometimes not.
-Luckily for me I have connected another TP-Link router to the Ogero router (to act as a repeater/extender) and when I connect to this router's wifi everything works great!
-When I upload anything, even a small Whatsapp video, as scorz said, my download completely vanishes! This is pretty annoying and I don't remember it happening few months back.
-Some websites are not opening, some random websites nothing fishy or dirty...

Anyone on Ogero experience packet loss during peak hours and bandwidth throttling ? Because i have this problem and all the isp can tell everytime is that Ogero is having problems and fixing it.
