what will you be doing with it?
word processing? developing? graphic design? gaming? surfing? watching dvds? will you be moving a lot with it and carrying it around? will you have power at reach all the time? ...

actually i don't need it for a specified purpose
it’s just for personal everyday use
maybe to play games or to study, acess the internet, watching dvds
I want it to be fast and with lots of options
a medium size is preffered not too big, not too small
maybe chi 15" :S or ...

it really varries depending on what you want to do.
if you want to watch DVDs you might want to go for a 15.4" screen, and probably a trubrite screen, which would affect your battery life.
if you want to play games, you will have to go for a good geforce card, also, less battery life.
to study and surf, anything will do.
so it's better to really know what you want not to by things that will affect in a negative way some performances that you need more than the extra things that you would have got and don't really use.

As for your laptop, check out Sony VAIO it has good lappies in your price-range.
