Weird issue with port forwarding on a DD-WRT

Not entirely sure whether it's a router or ISP issue. I've opened ports 8080, 21 and 22 on my linksys running the latest dd-wrt and setup a DDNS account with no-ip.com inorder to remotely access my router and FTP server. The problem is it works intermittently, I'd restart the router to see if the problem is fixed, but the ports show they are closed while using the online port checker, then they start working a day or 2 after. The problem isn't just limited to the DDNS, I've been trying to open ports 2302-2304 for the last week to no avail.

I did it both manually and through UPNP which still showed that the ports were closed and no one could join my server. I only need to host this game server a couple of hours or so, so there should be no need for a dedicated line.

I've already went through all the troubleshooting:

- Made sure the PC's IP was static
- Double checked the port forwarding setup page that it is enabled to both UDP and TCP
- Disabled the Block anonymous ping through WAN option
- Disabled firewall on both the PC and router
- The DSL modem is in bridge mode, so there is no risk in double NAT
- Contacted Ogero and they informed me that they do not block any ports

I've attached screenshots of my setup if anyone is interested: https://gyazo.com/collections/6597c474a … 13f3f93852

Would appreciate any help on this!

It seems that some builds have problems with port forwarding. Have you tried Googling the issue ? https://heshsum.wordpress.com/2013/11/1 … t-working/

Googled it to no avail, even tried it with another dd-wrt router (TP-link) a month ago.

Is your WAN IP public or behind a NAT from Ogero ?

Apparently my WAN IP shown on my DD-WRT screen (172.XXXX) is different from the Public IP address (94.XXXX) detected by websites like http://canyouseeme.org/.

I scanned the WAN IP (172.XXXX) and found the ports to be open, whereas they were closed on the Public one.

Any clue what that means?

After a router restart, my WAN IP is the same as my Public one (94.XXXXX). Guess this is an ISP issue since I'm on a non-dedicated line.

My 21,22,8080 ports are now open and I can remotely access my HDD and DD-WRT setup page, but no luck for ports 2302-2304
