Not all girls behave as such.
Otherwise you wouldn't find happy couples, who work their asses off to make a decent living.

Very few ladies are no obsessed with show-off, it's not only a $ thingy but show-off.
If you don't take her 2 times per week to the most expensive night club and 3-4 times to a classy restaurant she will not even talk to you. Since I am out of work thanks to my boss who decided to close his business in the most critical time of Lebanon (no president, war at the gates,...) don't ask me why but all the girls in Lebanon ''feel'' that I have not a job and won't even think about a possibility of talking to me.
Well thanks God I have some money left and when I see how bitchy Lebanese girls have become nowadays I prefer to put some $ on a real escort because at least there are no ''waje3 rass' and I know I can get what I want.
I don't expect ''love'' from a Lebanese girl anymore unless she's completely drunk or high and her mathematical brain doesn't work for a short time

Believe me, she'll come out of nowhere.

Maybe you are talking to the wrong girls and when things didn't work out the way you wanted, you started to look for quick solutions and started blaming others because of your actions.

There are many good girls in this country, unfortunately they are not easy to find. U just have to stop looking at the wrong ones and please stop judging people you don't know. This country has suffered a lot.

@NuclearVision

I do not regret gaming at all , I am now in my late 20s , and I have been playing since Atari days , I was 5 years old. In my journey , I consider my self games addict/hardware enthusiast who keeps upgrading to cope with technological advancement in the gaming world. I have succeeded in my career, social life,  and academic cardinals. YOLO = You Only Life One , no regrets at all and I feel very enjoyed with brilliant graphics , awesome life-like stories, real life scenarios , competitive online multi-players. Also a lot of psychological studies indicated that gaming improve the analytical competences of the mind.

Example:

One of my close friends, now a Senior Manager at PWC - Price Water House Coopers -  , and he is one of my childhood friends that we meet because of gaming , and till now the journey did not stop.

Yep gaming doesn't stop you from doing something else like gym or hiking.
Now the real addicts who stay more than 5 hours a day playing and failing at school must be blamed, but harmonious gaming is good for health :)

Hey you can always game from 12 am to 4 am. Who needs sleep anyway? Sleep is for the weak.

Don't get me wrong, I still open my computer once or twice a week for games. But mass gaming... In some stages I spent 10 hours online. Specially after discovering mmos 3 years ago which i regret most.
I feel stupid...

Well, if you are having some regrets don't be too hard on yourself and don't feel stupid. Consider it part of who you are and part of the process of growing up.

I've found many gamers have great reflexes and amazing attention to details...so try to look at it positively, take out all the skills, fun time, good memories, move on and try to find that balance between life and gaming.

When real life bores you, read a bit about game theory and see how it all fits...then move on to games in real life.

Re: Do you regret?

You Dont have feel stupid at all, you can learn alot from games. I have been a gamer all my life, and I get these ups and downs, I changed alot of things and made alot of effort and somehow it has been working out I guess. Do what you love to do, not what people tell you how to do. I still game alot, work as a full time job, freelance, go out on biking trips, go out with friends etc... The effort pays off in the end I guess.

Same here! I have become a history buff all because of the Total War series. I started reading books about Rome, Carthage, the crusades, Napoleon all the way up to world war 2.

Re: Do you regret?

I don't regret playing that much. And 10 hours a day on the computer is the norm for me everyday, it was gaming when I was a kid, now it's work+freelance. It is because I realized it's not that I don't have a life because I stay on the computer so much, but the opposite. I stay on the computer so much because I don't like going out, and generally do not enjoy the company of people...

It's all about knowing yourself. Meeting new people is overrated.

That's totally oppositing my conclusion, some people are really nice. More precisely, I want memories of my youth of real people, not of walls, graphics or pseudonames...
Don't you agree?

Bro you should do what makes you happy (maybe gaming wont make you specially "happy" but if you enjoy it I mean). Don't listen to what other say - 'it's a waste of time, 2oum 3mellak shi shaghle btenfa3' - everyone has a different life. Hala2 spending 10 hours straight isn't really good because to start with it's not even healthy I guess! Set your life priorities straight. a new language wont do much for you. But if it's getting in the way of your studies or something that could really contribute to your future, maybe tone down the gaming. There's always time for everything. Life is short but if you manage your time you can get a lot done.
