Works for me. I can access my account in customer panel.
I have however been getting some packet loss to gateway for over a week now.
--- 172.16.41.1 ping statistics ---
100 packets transmitted, 95 received, 5% packet loss, time 99133ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 7.037/25.233/41.839/20.828 ms
Does any of you guys have a VISP connection via reseller? I just found a local provider $40 2M 75GB and he told me the ping is always below 100ms and they priorities Voice, games, FB. Is it true?

Based on my personal experience, it is not true.
First couple of months it is visp.
Then you get switched to a different weird-never-heard-of isp. Ping climbs to 800ms to almost everything. From 8 to 00:00pm. And sometimes during the day.
Sometimes everything gets blocked except whatsapp facebook twitter.
It is annoying.
Finally i wouldn't recommend it to a friend.
Some resellers are playing smartass and moving people to another ISP. Then it depends on reseller, not VISP.
VISP ips are always VISP.
First of all thank you for the fast replies.
I think this guy will give me from VISP because he told me that I can always check my consumption from this site https://mystat.visp.net.lb.
And I talked to this guy based on a lot of friends recommendations so I don't think he will be playing around.
Let's assume I will get a VISP connection, is it good? And how much is their ping onto europe?
Its good during the day. Ping isnt bad either but frankly it has its times where ping is high, fup etc
Edit. Nevermind. Nuclearcat fixed it in one second haha.

Anyone on VISP plays league of legends (or any online game) and can enlighten me about their ping and packet loss?

Anyone else's connection is down? If so, are you on shared or real IP?
JUST switch to OGERO, and don't bother reading the previous pages of this thread.
1) You basically spammed every topic with "just switch to ogero".
2) I rent an apartment and my landlord said he won't renew the rent if I get a landline before next october (which means no DSL for now). So don't make random suggestions.
I wouldn't call it spam.
Just an important Notice for new people asking questions in each ISP individual topic,to show them that Ogero is the solution.
So that they won't even bother thinking and considering any other option than Ogero to clear their heads from Internet trouble in the future.
Might not be a solution in your case, but for new DSL seekers, its the perfect solution.
I wouldn't call it spam.
You even accidentally posted in the Ogero thread.

It is spam
1 pasting the same sentence on multiple places
2 encouraging people for no valid reason
where you went wrong :
1 ogero doesn't provide you real ip for free
2 some locations in lebanon have bad centrals ( like mine) so if you choose IDM they have there own backbone in some areas called GDS
is the best way.
ofc ogero has its own benefits but its not perfect so your comment was useless spam

May I ask where you live?
And any information on where Ogero's/IDM's strength/weakness is (locations) would be very helpful, since I'm trying to pick one of these two.
I live in baabda i think now ogero fixed stuff here but idm is kind of stable now.
This is my feedback on VISP.
When i applied to VISP DSL 4mb unlimited they assured me, they do not slow down connections whatsoever.
Now my connection is capped to 40kb for over 3 weeks and whenever i call them they say there is something wrong with your modem and you should restart it. They remove the cap for 30 min max and then back to being 40kb.
So for downloading and even gaming VISP is the wrong choice.

How long did it take for internet to get activated after your DSL application?
I think it was around a month, but they promised in two to three weeks.
I had to call them multiple times and remind them.
Anybody on VISP can confirm having high pings on online games specially after 5 PM?
Ping is very stable here but speed is capped at 256kbit (1Mbit account) outside the 3 to 9AM period.
It was faster before the new year.
is your connection dsl or via reseller?
Wireless broadband but direct subscriber.
Ok, bad ping spikes since 20 minutes ago. It was better when it was raining heh.
I'm also on wireless broadband and a direct subscriber (I have my own account on visp....) but ping isn't good the last few days..
