ie 7

As usual microsoft copied the features of their competitors. Tabs? Add-ons? Pop-up blocker?
Microsoft now has it, no more need for Firefox or some whacky 3rd party pseudo-browser.
I may be finally switching to IE due to firefox's huge memory print. But that futuristic interface sort of scares me.

Re: ie 7

Opera? closed-source-evilness =P

firefox 2.0 beats the hell out of IE7 except maybe for the memory usage issue.  Plus, there's a 0day exploit for IE7 circulating!

Re: ie 7

there is something that i just can't live without in firefox, and can't stand up anymore in other browsers, it's the way you can search for stuff in a page (the ctrl+f thing), it's so much better under firefox, that's maybe one of teh few things that keep me from using another browser. microsoft should consider copying that

Re: ie 7

Anyway when i saw ie 7 hitting 110 mb memory usage with only 6 open tabs... that was enough for me to go back to firefox.
I didnt like the ie interface anyway.
