CS or CCE?

Hello dear computer geeks,

A friend of mine is applying to universities and she's kinda thinking about working on computers department. But she's not sure what's the best major suited for her...

She applied for Computer Science in BAU and got accepted, but a lot of people advised her to recommend applying for CCE, since it's more profitable they claim.

Moreover, she's not sure where to apply for that major, she's kinda looking for an affordable university that have a great reputation.

So here's my questions :
1. Which is more profitable as a future job? CS or CCE?
2. What's the best affordable university for CCE?

Do whatever you prefer, if you prefer communications, go with CCE, but if you prefer general programming and computer science, CS is the key. If you're not convinced with a computer major, try another thing! You can't force yourself to be good at something that's profitable.

Sometimes a CS/CCE student can make as much as a doctor, whereas an engineer doesn't make as much. (this really depends on how good you are)

Do not decide your major based on how much money you can make out of it. Money can't buy happiness. However not being depressed all the time because of your job that you hate and the tasks you have to do everyday... that goes a long way in being happy.
