Pythonistas, how do you write the setup.py script of a new project?

I never have any idea how to write this one. I found a guide in the official doc. I'll probably read it at some point, but is there a shorter version of it? Anything to get me started really quick?

I'm starting a quick one file project (with no extensions, dependencies or anything like that), and I want to upload it to PyPI. I don't want to spend the whole day tomorrow reading this, is there a shorter intro?

you might want to take a look at this guide written by tarek ziade, you might also want to read his book, you can see it down the page, excellent book, and you can find it as an ebook for free, somewhere on the web, can't tell you where you know, admins will delete my post :)
