so a friend of mine bought me the htc desire from romania but it is locked to orange does anyone know how to unlock it

Enjoy your Desire..  it is a great phone
I have one since 3 months now fully updated to 2.2+ arabic

It's not an iPhone. Once it is unlocked it will remain unlocked. Don't worry.

so i got my htc desire locked to orange romania but when i got my unlock code it says incorrect password
any suggestions?

From where did you get the unlock code? If it didn't work you should contact them!
