Font Renaming

I've been looking on the internet for a couple of days now for a decent free tool to rename a font internally.
Fontforge would have worked well if it worked for me at all. I just didn't download Cygwin to just make this work (left it for hours and got disconnected).

Do you have any suggestions? Do I need any pirated software (some Adobe program?)

Re: Font Renaming

I finally installed fontforge that was built against MinGW for windows. Linux and Unix people should be able to build from source and be up to speed quickly.

As far as I have tried this, it's pretty decent. Resembles an interface from the 90's, but it does its job very well and gives you meaningful info in case you are a beginner.

It solved my problem for now.
