Got my iMac, pics!!

Finally I made it and got the iMac without being paranoid about anything, it's still powered off but I am backing up my old PC data before replacing it!!

About the price, I got the lowest honestly but still too expensive, 2743$ including VAT and 5% discount for students... The Quad Core Vaio is touch screen but 24" and with slower performance but for 2680$...

Thanks dude, I know you hate macs, I used to but heck I have an intel based computer and can install win7, I just care about the screen, nothing more nothing less, and Apple makes gorgeous screens ( LG , yeah im serious)...

Ok I am using it now but I am thinking of take it back to the store, I cant look at the screen more than 10mins, my eyes hurt!! ouffffff

Turn down the brightness or adjust it or fix the contrast or any of that.
I remember when i first got my 22incher it was too bright and it hurt my eyes but i adjusted it to my liking and now its good.

The brightess is below minimum, ya zalameh 7tara2 din 3youneh,  I think maybe because im turning off the lights and still not used to it. By the time I will, maybe I'll be wearing glasses.

It's weird, macs normally have nice displays. Yes, that's the problem with wide displays. Make sure you have a dark wallpaper.

I'm glad you did the "crazy" choice...! I think you will like OSX with time, like me.

2880 including vat, but get any student card ID and it's fine, you get a 5% discount. So the lowest price was 2740$ including VAT for the core i5 but the core duo is 500$ cheaper I think.

This machine is a true piece of art, the screen is just stupendous and marvelous.

I'd def. recommend it to a friend...

Not really, already checked adkom, interlink, virgin, microtechstore, teletrade etc... all the same price but at iStyle they were more friendly and they offered me support...
