some info about the new russian super computer

apparently Russia is catching up really fast on the latest of advancements in the super computer industry . lomonosov is their latest creation for the Moscow State University and used by the Research Computing Center . the lomonosov is ranked 12 in a list of 500 super computers , one of the advancements they did was achieving so much power while using the tightest area possible . i wanted to see the machine , what first came to my mind were those crude Russian glonass navigation systems and the crude Russian space vehicles but surprisingly its one of the best super computer i have ever seen , simply because most of it is not Russian made, for example the 8,892 multicore CPUs are Intel . Here are the specs and a picture .
