Laptop
Acer TravelMate 4060
Intel Pentium M (centrino) 1.73 GHz
2 GB ram DDR2
60 GB hard
199 MB of vram
WIFI
Bluetooth
battery dead long time ago after using it to power one of my robots (eventually killed by a short circuit) being a geek i solved the problem by disabling the battery driver for windows , runs now for an hour or so .
i love the laptop but i have one comment about it , horrible on board sound amplifier .
i plan on fitting it with a power regulated solar panel soon ......

Re: Post your System's Specs

Well for all it's worth, here's mine:
Laptop: Compal-JHL90 build
CPU: P8600 Core 2 Due - 2.4GHz
MB: Chipset PM45
VGA: Geforce 9600GT Mobile (Laptop 15" LCD + BenQ 22" G2220HD)
Memory: 2GB 800MHz
HDD: 500GB - 5400rpm
OS: Windows 7 currently on 150GB HDD.. soon to install OSX as dual boot on the new 500GB one

This rig is both good on the move (I program when I go from Saida to Beirut), and when stationary for long hours.

Oh well, am using a 32-bit OS - Windows 7.. Can't be bothered about the extra Gigabyte or couple of such.
Funny thing about my rig, is that it looks soo ugly on the outside, but it beats the crap out of any laptop both battery wise and performance wise (within its price range of course)

lol about the 940 you absolutely right ... btw from some reviews i think with your board you can overclock you cpu to 2.8 on a 3500rpm cpu fan with about 70 degree  so you might be able to go further but am not sure, i really dont trust cpu fans.

btw very very nice vga is that the same one with 4 dvi output ?

memory             :      4gb ram ddr3 (getting another 4gb later)
