Hello
i was updating a module to an already made website
There was many copy files called myDB in the different subfolders
i wanted to make sure that my app is connecting the right database
so i renamed subfolder... refresh... the main site and mine stopped working
i renamed back to the correct name.. refresh... refresh... refresh.. i am still refresshing and i started another browser.. it is giving a connection problem :S

muhahahahaha that's your sentence for using ASP :rolleyes:, eternal damnation , anyway my best guess is that would be some character encoding problem, uploading the files afresh should fix it, or maybe permissions...

i am currently cursing, so i prefer not to type anything now
there is no logical explanation how it fixed... i am not currently interested in knowing

i had a similar problem a while biack with mysql. i set a password on one db but it got applied on another db and vice versa. at the end i had to drop and repopulate both db on mysql.
as of mysql version 5.x there have been lots of instability :/ .... waiting for next major release to occur.
