Decent Java job vacancy?

Just wondering if anyone knows about big software development companies that do Java in Lebanon?  Could you please name a few... 

And if there are any, do these companies pay well? i.e. between 1.5 and 2K for a 2 years Java developer?

Not so prestigious... but CME offshore also?
Otherwise take a look at international offers...
Maybe there are other companies but i dont know much about them.
I know a couple of java developers, i can ask next time i meet them if you want.

Yeah.. Murex seems to be one of the few relatively large companies in Lebanon that do Java, and pay well so I heard.  I was actually wondering if there are any other mysterious companies I don't know about besides Murex :)

It would be great if you gather some valuable info from your contacts.. thanks.

Had another idea though about whether it may be more profitable if you do freelance Java development in sites like www.getafreelancer.com or the like.. would you earn more cash and get rid of all stress imposed on you at work?

Well, I think since you are a Java guy/girl, it should be in the opposite extremely easy for you to find job :)

I am not much following on the job market search, but lot of times, there were ppl having trouble finding java developers
I will check for you... u can check the companies at berytech

Freelance Developer is awesome, you can take all your work with you on your latptop, external hdd  freedom, mobility and less stress for sure, and more money
but you have to be self responsible and disciplined ... you will end up working a lot more than u do usually, freelance is not the easy lazy solution
but u will stay in shape and updated and such... so if u can afford it , give freelance a serious try for a month or 2

Detailed Job Description:

· Programming of new amendments requested by the client
· Testing the development of the achieved task
· Writing all features developed in the dedicated module on the manual

Job Requirements:

Degree: Bachelor Degree, a master Degree is a plus
Major: Computer Science or equivalent degree is required
Minimum: 2 years experience In Java, JSP, SQL, JavaScript
Computer skills: Microsoft Office
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to cope under stress and pressure
Languages: English, Arabic,

Salary: Starting 900$ (Depends on qualifications & experience)

MUREX ... pay well .... work fucking hard  u actually work double time  but it's a nice company ! good luck !
