Google Query String

"http://www.google.com/search?q=lebgeeks … =firefox-a"

Data Collectors !

what does ubuntu,my browser n the other data sent have to do with my query ? what is the relevance ?  do they show different results if i was on windows ?

a simple "http://www.google.com/search?q=lebgeeks would do the same"

Re: Google Query String

that's the query yo uget when you used the search box in forefox. that's because firefox receives a percentages of the revenues of adds comming from seraches made threw this box. so it's probably used to know that the search was made from which browser to pay them accordingly.

I had that feature enabled a few years back. It was interesting, but I felt it invaded my privacy, so I 'deleted' the data (but you can never know if G actually deletes it)
