i was programming something related to hdd
i was wondering what is the story of drive B ?
historically (since DOS), drive A and B were reserved for floppy drives...
ah.. i thought drive A was only for floppy drives

yeah, it's as boring as that, no cool story behind it....
From the times where computers had 2 floppy drives to make disk copy faster or to be able to read 2 different formats (5 inches and 3 inches). Usually a: was the 5 inches and b: the 3 inches in that case.
Nowadays we dont know what to do with one floppy drive.
for my case, drive A was the 3 inches and B the 5 inches, but yeah, B is for the second floppy drive
