Meeting 4 - Suggestions

The purpose of this thread is to gather suggestions from the members of LebGeeks regarding the fourth meeting, and therefore hold a meeting based on the general preference of the forum members.

Suggestions

- 31st  of August (it's a Friday)
- 3rd  of September(it's a Monday)

/place/

- Cinnabon @ Géant City Mall
- Cinnzeo @ Jal Ed Dib

/time/

- Around 7pm

What do you guys think? Where and when would you like to hold the meeting?

for me it depends on
1 - who is going
2 - what we doing
3 - when we going

tanen and orb3a are fine with me .. the other days have stuff scheduled
after 6:30 (till i finish work and get to the place )

if we are actually gonna do something ... or discuss something ... like marketing ideas for lebgeeks.. shi project .. shi challenge.. shi game (whatever) .. sharing files , music, pics , databases

w akid who is going  : if new ppl are attending .. it is almost the same small group

For #2, your suggestions are quite nice, yes we could discuss how to expand LebGeeks for example, and expand its userbase, or create a side project that will run in parallel with the forums, and as always file sharing has became a standard in meetings, so people will bring their laptops, their Linux distros, whatever... if anyone needs anything just request it.

Finally, I already suggested a date that seems to be adequate for you. So you're basically on for the third of September?

yeah, keep doing meeting while i'm not here...traitors!!!! i hope 7a yenfekes el mashrou3 or that you wont have fun, w hein...

i would suggest doing it on a thursday afternoon or friday/saturday (to be a weekend for me) and in mall of the emirates or ibn battuta mall.

make the date outside the range of  2 to 6 and im in.
as for the program, we could do a nice "war game" or a tiny "lan party",  dunno anything would be cool with me :)

yalla try inviting ur leb friends hunik
bawtouwa as lebanese tech ppl in dubai  i am sure there are lot of lebs hunik working in the field

i will bring my laptop , i am ok for a little war game.. we first do the basic setups .. then try to break..more setups

w i will need ur advice guys on couple of stuff

as for gaming.. i don't really play
the only game i can play decently and have chance to win is red alert 2 haha :$
