How' s dubai?

I am thinking of sending my CV to a bunch of companies there... how's life in dubai?

it really depends on what you like to do.
if your outgoing, like clubbing ans stuff, you'll like it
but anyways you wont have much time for that
well, workwise it's very good, there's lots of experience, lots of work, big companies, great for the CV.
Life wise, if you have 1 or 2 friends, you don't need more.
Money wise, housing is VERY expensive, if you want to have a room to yourself (but still sharing the appartment), if you find something below 800$/month you would be lucky). Other things like food, clothes, ... are like lebanon.
For transportation, taxis are very expensive, you will probably want to by a car (cars are quiet cheaper than leb), so you'll also have to consider that.

well, that's mainly it. for me, as long as i have my 1MB connection and 1 or 2 friends, it's all i need to survive (yeah, i'm not ENJOYING anything till now, but i also have nothing to complain about).

well you can do as most people are already doing: work in dubai live in sharjah/ajman

other than that it is very expensive when it comes to housing and transportation like watermelon said
