softwarly mess a usb

hi guys
i lost my usb
i had to run into the first computer shop and get the first usb yalleh tol3it bi wijeh cuz it was urgent

i sent my data
i was smiling again

the very next day
the usb ntaza3it

i can still read my data from it
i can't write to it
i can't DELETE Folders from it , i can delete the files but file by file .. i had shi noss malyoun file .. i tried deleting from the command line
it gives errors on the command line but it deletes
later i found out that the deleted files are restored once i plug back

i can't format la quick format wala full format

i tried formatting from the command line

the guy can give me another usb if i give him this usb
bas it has data that i can't risk anyone to have it

what i want to do is find a way to softwarly mess the usb .. ano so he can't no more read from it
any help
anyone has experience b naz3 l usbs
or to force the process of deleting files.. or formatting
maybe some software that will force the delete (i tried tune up shredder .. nops didn't work)
or to lock it or password protect it or shi heik.. any idea is welcomed

i thought about asking .. before throwing it

Try to put it on a linux system and format it
Sounds like a virus to me...

like Rolf suggested,

mount it on a linux system, let's say it's mounted on /media/disk (ubuntu does it by default)

sudo dd if=dev/zero of=/media/disk

this command will overwrite your entire USB with Zeros.

use this command with extreme caution!

No need to use software:

1. Get a screwdriver.
2. Get a hammer.
3. Open the USB.
4. Beat the crap out of its content.
5. Close everything.
6. Clean the mess.
7. Return the USB.

btw mir on some usb sticks there is a little switch for write protection... check if you havent one of these.

yeah
it has my new upcoming hit porn movie on it and i don't want it to be stolen for free :(

well it is not about pics or stuff
mostly lot of source code , databases wl 3ayleh (ano u know)

i will try the trick u told me about
by the way the error that it is given is "redundancy disk check"
i doubt it is a virus

w by the way
yesterday shift dabbous (ma ba3ref shu ken 3am yi3mol l dabous bl sac )
sa2alatan fawatet l dabous bl usb couple of times in the dots .. ano it wouldn' show
l usb l 3ajibeh still works
wlik shu haida
i am keeping it
