Jobs in Lebanon

I was just wondering what are some of the requirments to get a job as a developer (web applications or desktop) in lebanon are.  And how much do they pay?

I was just wondering if I should go back to my home country or stay here.

What do languages do they look for, what skills etc...

the most used languages are c/c++, VB, n Java.. .NET is starting to get some audience, but legacy techs like FoxPro are still very popular.. for databases, Oracle, MSSQL and more Access (wtf) are popular.. again fox pro is widespread too..

For the pay i can't tell you for sure but it ain't great compared to the rest of the world..

the salary depends on what u are working with and ur level of expertise .

im lebanese, i was born and raised in lebanon, wjid jidi libnani kamin.

I love lebanon and I want to come back bess i dont know if i can survive there.   My brother's friends got a proposal to build a 5 page website in classic asp and they charged them 1200$.  They used 1 Access db for every page.  It looked like you can rip people off without anyone knowing. 

Why do we stay 10 years behind?

well i apologize then!

In lebanon there is a chance of Ripping People Off and making money
but that doesn't work all the time..and sometimes u may get ripped off

well, i love ur enthousiasm to come back
but personally i think u should wait 1 or 2 year to come back and live here
after that i think the economical and polotical situation would be better (hopefully)
for the moment come visit at summer and have some fun

by the way, what country are you in ?
maybe u can start a small bizness where u can be the link between lebanese programmers and companies there.
that would make u make some money
