Oo !

Hi Guys!

Just want to ask if anyone has any experience (especially work) in object oriented database and programming ?
or if someone knows some who knows OO stuff ...

if yes can u plz post plz ur feedback about ur favorite OO database? and OO programing language.
Cuz actually i am not happy about what they give to us in uni on OO..
It is all theory. we don't have an OODBMS/SGBDOO to test and try [our teacher is trying hard to get something to the lab but she can't,we are almost learning it together]
I want to get one that would run on regular PC,That does not need lot of MSR

DO u think that it is wise to switch to Object Oriented stuff now ?
or should i study them now so i can have the necessary expertise in the 2 coming years?
can u discuss reliabilities issues,cost,ease/simplicity, help and support on the internet ?

I think i read somewhere that relational database showed a growth of 15 % while object oriented ones 9 - 10 %?
so do u think it is just a HYPE ?or some big ppl in the industry are switching to it?
and who ?

errr... here comes the related stuff post
