Lynx Internet Any Good? How about some other companies?

There are many Internet Service Providers out there. Can anyone find one that has a DECENT ( Not Great, like it doesn't have to be 512 kbps ) speed and has low latency and good ping. I'm really looking on the latency and ping and downspeed, upload speed I'm giving up on, I guess I won't be able to host games anymore :(

Research here, I'd love to do it myself, but I'm using Dial-Up which is way too slow and too limited
