old meeting

LebGeeks Meeting

the Lebgeeks meeting will take place Tuesday the 27th of June 2006 at Cinnzeo Downtown around 5 or 6PM. Now that it's the 3rd meeting, we'll get to know each other even more and interact with new members that'll be attending the meeting. As always, don't hesitate to bring your ideas, laptops, usb keys, and CDs if you want to show us some of your work or share some data.

first, thanks to ike for his suggestion. We are searching for a place to meet at, as well as a date/time that suits you. The first meeting will take place in an ordinary place to discuss and meet each other. I have some ideas for future meetings (like "internet enabled" ones.) - but for the mean time, please suggest a suitable place, also, a date/time preference would be good.

we need to know how many of you guys (approx.) could make it.
if you have comments/questions/suggestions, please post a reply.

Since we all know how the situation is in beirut, so we can't meet in a place like downtown, but still there's concorde which is a nice place for meetings. or we can have this meeting in jal-eddib, which I think is reachable by all the users, ya3ne users from beirut can easily take a bus to jal-eddib or users from the side of jbeil and tripoli can also take a bus easily to ed-dib, in jal eddib we can make the meeting in Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, or Cinnzeo..
About the date, I think it's better to be in weekends.
In the meeting we can discuss things to improve this site, beside knowing each others.. What do you think

i'll be there, but plz dont let it be in beirut.... since the situation is getting worse .... any place will do...
time, during weekends of course, app 5 pm or something like that

Jal el dib is perfect but please please not cinzeo or dunkin...How about we meet @ roadster? i usually finnsh uni at 4:30 so 5 would be perfect...

i think we should do it around the 11th of july, since mahdoum is coming to lebanon, and the elections will be finished.

should we do it earlier?

Samora do it when ever you want, la2no I live in tripoli and this summer is kind of hectic for me, ya3ni i'll probably miss the first meeting .
