i heard that a member from LebGeeks submitted his movie, but he wasn't there, i think his name is Hani Bayoun and the movie called A Frog In My Life, i thought it was the funniest...

our friend Michel, Ozzman from Lebanesebands.com, worked on a movie of his own called Ashes To Ashes, showing the story of a cigarette's life, and helped on 2 others aswell, 3D work, these 2 others RULED! only a part of the first (Beirut Lost & Found - The 3D Slab) was shown, a trailor,  a mixture of lebanese daily life pictures and videos with some 3D animations, the second (Only you)  was hilarious, these "pate a modeler" animated characters, a fighting couple with the Only You song in the background...great work

some were really ordinary, the ideas were pretty original, but the application isn't that much IMO

i found 2 movies very strong, the first was The End by Maya Sherfan, it's about how Man is killing Nature, very nice drawings with Pink Floyd's GoodBye Blue Sky song...
and Zig Au Purgatoire by Yara Nachawati, weirdly illustrating a man's death, and trip to the purgatory, he's under surgery and his head is emptied from all the sins he did...

so it was pretty nice seeing such talented people around and once again thanks to Zico for providing the place.

Animation rules and that's why I produce it
A full review of Animania will come later this week .
Animania is on the run other events are being prepared  if anyone is interested .if you have an animation that you did yourself and it isn't for a commercial ,mail me at animanialeb@hotmail.com .
