Sudden slow performance after update

Hey everyone...

Anyone experiencing some slow down in their computers/laptops after the Mozilla browser update ?

I scanned the laptop for viruses... emptied out my drive a bit (though no where near half full even).. ran other scans.... all is normal

Any idea what might have caused this sudden slow down (i got 16gb of rams, an I7processor, 4 GB on the Nvidia)

Mybe you got FUP'ed?
If you kill Firefox, or if you disable all plugins, does the problem remain?
Does it happen when you boot your computer, before you ever open Firefox?

I didn't really pay attention but if there is not any process directly related to firefox sucking up system resources in task manager, I don't think that this is the problem. Maybe it is just a coincidence and the problem is something different.
