Hello, I'm Ali.

Hey LebGeeks, my name is Ali Bassam, I'm currently a CCE student (5th year Computer and Communication Engineering), this seemed like the right place to be.

So to make it short, I like to code, and I like to talk, and I also like to share knowledge, and learn more, well, learning never stops.

I'm looking forward to participate actively in this Forum, see you soon!

Oh and if anyone wondering what I'm "good" at, here's what I know:

Software programming:
- Java
- C#

Web Development
- ASP.NET with C#
- PHP (a little bit, I know I have to learn it but time doesn't allow)
- JSF (Java Server Faces, learning it now, had previous experience in JSP, currently working on a big project for bank in Lebanon)

Web Design
- I don't use, photoshop and flash, or templates
- only HTML and CSS, code by code, pixel by pixel, makes me more satisfied.

Networking
- CCNA 1 2 3 4
- means, basic protocols, routers, switches, WLAN, etc...

UNIX Systems
- normal experience using linux Ubuntu
- I was trained in a company for 2 months on using Oracle's Solaris, and I love it.

Ha, I worked on Solaris for 2 and a half years and hated it. Debian felt swift and modern after that...
