Hello!
I tried to install Win 8.1 Preview last month but it didn't give me the option to ''update'' my actual Win 8 Pro,so I abandoned the idea of installing it.
Now that the 8.1 RTM version is available,can I insall it in a way it upgrades my win 8 pro and keep all softwares and games installed??
Get it officially next month

Isn't RTM a final version that they give for PC manufacturers like HP?
No, an RTM version is supposed to be only used for clean installed. You will not be able to upgrade with RTM.

What makes you sure Windows 8.1 will solve that issue?
Try reinstalling Nvidia drivers (as in, clean uninstaller with a suitable tool and then install).
RTM = Release To Manufacturing.
You get it officially through Windows Update next month.

So RTM can update Win 8?
Because my Win 8 will be surely flagged by MS update if you know what I mean ;)
No, RTM cannot upgrade. RTM is kinda like to sell with an early system release. Fresh installs only.
I purchase genuine discs all the time from Microsoft. No RTM ever had an upgrade option.

RTM is only for manufacturers and only manufacturers. An official version is not available to the public yet.
RTM is for manufacturers like Toshiba or HP to use and load their own software on it and install it on their new laptops that will also be released a while later.
