Looking for a good video editing software?

Hey there everyone,

I've been trying to turn my "Game of Thrones" collection into a "family friendly" version, and for that I need a good video editing software. The videos are in AVI format. I am aware of Windows Movie Maker but this software turns my edited videos into WMV format, which I don't want. So, what do you guys recommend?

i use adobe after effects, but you can also use adobe premiere

If you're not using movie maker just because it changes the format, then you could use YTD downloader (or others) to convert WMV to AVI, YTD is a youtube video downloader and a video converter, you have a billion other option there.

If you want other video editors, then take a look at this list.and this one
