installing windows on macbook pro

Hello everyone,

I am new to mac os and I managed to install windows 7 on my macbook pro. I bought a mountain lion dvd in order to install drivers for windows and when i inserted the dvd while windows is running, there was only one file on dvd. Dmg.
Can i install drivers from such a file? There is no setup icon

How is a mountain lion DVD related to Windows drivers? Download the Windows drivers from the Internet; this ensures you have the latest version drivers for everything.

Why not just run it in Bootcamp?

I dont know what you are talking about guys

I did the partition using bootcamp and i removed the tickmark that says download software because i thought i can get it from my mac os dvd

When i booted to windows i found out that there is a 4.4 gb file with extension dmg which cant be opened by windows.
