Hello World

Hello everyone,

My name is Ali and I'm studying Computer Science (first year). I was studying architecture but I changed my major because I was wasting too much time on my computer the only thing I'm passionate about.
I'm here to learn everything I can and I'll be really thankful if the older members will give me some advices and tips to start the right way and build a strong base. To be honest I'm not planning to stay an employee for the rest of my life. I believe that in my 30s I should have started my own business even if it was a kiosk. I know it's a very hard thing to do but with your experience and my hard work I believe I can accomplish something.

Hey Ali, I'm also a sophomore studying Computer Science. Where are you studying? Have you had any past experience with writing code?

I've never had any experience with BASIC. Mostly I code in C++ (self-taught) and Java (from university). And the more I get to know Java, the more I like C++  Hope you like your new major so far, good luck.
