i am really sick of this,i am a sodetel consumer and the ping has been high for about 6 months and i am getting less than 20% of the speed i should be getting,subscribed to the 4MB package

Hi, Currently on terranet I'm getting max 30-50kbps instead of 2mbit(which is more like 1.6mbit max in truth)

Granted, this might take a week or two but if you watched the Minister yesterday on the news you would know he is working with people in Cyprus and they agreed to give us the needed bandwidth, for 2 weeks for free, to restore Lebanon's capacity to what it was before the cable incident in the meantime.

The minister also said they are about to sign an agreement that would increase Lebanon's total capacity to 700 Gbit/s.

9 months should be enough to give birth to a new cable ;) wait 50 more years and it might mature enough.

700 Gbit/s is still not alot, divide it by at least 30% of internet users of the total population(4 million still?) you end up with less than 1mbit for each.

no it hasn't been fixed, but ogero clients and 3G seems to be running almost at full capacity since last night and performance increased today as well for them.

I at terranet though, would prefer to use a dial up connection over my 2mb plan, this is why:

Ogero and Lynx(leased lines) are back to normal, Terranet still on dialup speed with huge lag, wake me up when this is over.

Ogero was not running at full capacity yesterday. The problem was just as bad yesterday at 10:30pm.

Everything is normal now, ping is fine so is download and upload (IDM 2mb package)

For some reason I'm getting Uber pings during the day, during the night it's 100-150ms and look how much it is now:

I asked my friend who lives in the same area I do to ping as well(Ogero user as well) and he told me he's getting an average of 131ms

I'm trying to figure out if my problem is from the internet problem or a localized problem, before the Thursday "blackout" I didn't have such problems, any suggestions?
