checkout this awesome website i found it from a while ago but i forgot to post it here www.slidesms.com you can send unlimited number of free SMS to any country and without any limited number of characters and no registration needed just go to the site put the number in this format 00[country code][mobile number] (ex: 0096170xxxxxx) write your SMS and send the message will arrive in seconds. and they have a mobile site m.slidesms.com
I tried sending myself a message. It never arrived.
Actually you can use this format also if the message didn't reach you , 0119617097****
ah. I'm so stupid. I was sending to 0096103****** instead of 009613******
it works now.
not working for me guys :/
working for me.. that's great for prank sms. the recipient can't know it's you unless you tell them
yea works now after inserting 00 in the beginning
amazing worked for me :D but we shouldn't really attract too much attention to it , it might get blocked or something
I tried it here in Canada and it worked. It send your message and adds "- keep sms free from slidesms.com" to the end.

Pretty cool! Thanks for sharing.
Great website. Thanks for sharing :).

P.S: I'm already pranking my friend since it doesn't show the sender :D.
Thanks for sharing , It worked for me , but the sad part is that it adds the website's name to the sms , so there's no way to hide our free sms secret :P
I was bored i wrote a simple XSS that will be easier to use for lebanese numbers:
javascript:var txt=document.getElementById('txt1');var no=document.getElementsByName('no')[0];var x=document.getElementById('countryID');var m=prompt("Enter Message","");var n;do_it();function do_it(){n=prompt("Enter Number without country code","");n=n.replace(/ /gi, "");n=parseInt(n,10);var nl=n.toString().length;if (nl==7) {x.selectedIndex=108;}else if (nl==8) {x.selectedIndex=109;}else {alert("Please Enter a Valid Lebanese Number\nEnter Number without country code");do_it();}txt.value=m;no.value=("00961"+n);}
Country Code List is for reference only. :)
GreenM wroteCountry Code List is for reference only. :)
didn't notice
this is a new one it will send it automatically after you input the message and the number:
javascript:var btn=document.getElementsByName('btnG')[0];var txt=document.getElementById('txt1');var no=document.getElementsByName('no')[0];var m=prompt("Enter Message","");var n;do_it();function do_it(){n=prompt("Enter Number without country code","");n=n.replace(/ /gi, "");n=parseInt(n,10);var nl=n.toString().length;if (nl!=7 && nl!=8) {alert("Please Enter a Valid Lebanese Number\nEnterNumber without country code");do_it();}txt.value=m;no.value=("00961"+n);btn.click()}

I think it's the sponsors
thank you this was really helpful, and useful, unlike the lebanese operators' free sms service
but just one question, because i'm not an expert programmer, can we use firebug or edit the page source in a way that the message will be sent without "keep sms free slidesms.com" ?
Well sadly, after testing this website, noticed that it has a limitation on how many characters you send. They didn't specify this limitation but after sending 3 big sms, they were partially delivered. According to my estimation, the limitation is around 220 characters. Despite that, it's still very useful to me, after all i don't send newspaper articles as sms :P
