how's the phone so far ? give us a review lol...
when you hold it in landscape mode and you are a little bit far from the router the wifi signal will be lost totally ?
man this issue is a pain in the a*s!
ill state the pros and cons of the device...

pros: very good screen, color producation is great and the res is great for reading text. the dual core cpu and and the adreno 220 gpu are very snappy. the phone doesnt lag. apps run very fast and games will not miss a single frame. sense 3.0 is amazing i really love it 3d effects every where, and very nice weather updates play across the screen when there is a change. camera is very good, way better then the old cameras htc used before, colors look really good and the dual led flash does very good job at night they are very bright. video recording is also great, 1080p at 30 fps and every thing looks nice and smooth. the phone also look and feels great in the hand specially with the 16:9 screen that feels much better then the one in the DHD.

cons: the viewing angles are not that good, anything above almost 60 dgree from either sides will makes the colors to wash out a bit. also it doesnt do well in sunlight, but it does better hob the super amoled and the screen can still be visable outdoors normally. there is wifi death grip which does have an effect but its not big. if you are far from the router and the you cover the entire lower back pannel you will lose signal, but normally you wont lose signal. i even found it to do better job then the old glalxy s that i had. battery is not that good, i am using the device from 8 am till 3 and when i get gom at like 5 it would be in power saving mode at 10%, but i am connected to wifi all the time in uni from 9-3.

over all the htc sensation is great, you cant go wrong with it. i am sure updates will solve the bettery and wifi problems. so over all ill give the device 17/20

help anybody???
my galaxy version is KE2 and I cant seem to update it right now to KE7
I'll try N.O.V.A 2 HD later this week and get back to you. Did you get your phone from Amhaz? I got mine from there and it's KE7.
guys who got the galaxy s 2 , tell us about it , what's the problems for now ? and how bad is touchwiz lol ?

on other hand who get the sensation other than haidcar ? what about wifi reception problem ?

i should get a new phone this weekend and am still torn between those 2 lol
samsung galaxy s2 is a great handset...beautiful slim and very responsive, no lag what so ever...however, as I experineced and noticed, small but existing number of games will crash, till now I can name two: NOVA 2 and minisquadron, and when I searched about it it turns out that gameloft will release versions of their games compatible to galaxy s2 so not a big thing here...anything else is great, and touchwiz is really a very nice interface I dont get what the fuzz is really about! Sure there's no 3d effects but it is very practical with lots of shortcuts and customization possibilities...
in few words, you cannot go wrong with this handset and you will surely love it!

and I bought it from "SAFA ISSA", he is an authorised samsung mobile dealer in tripoly
good news for SGS2 holders, casemate cases at virgin including screenguard. black, hard cover 24$. transparent, soft gel 16$ but looks bad. there's also a silver, hard cover i think also 24$.

happy buying.
5 days later
I bought the Galaxy S2 yesterday from Stars Communication Amhaz at Beirut Mall for 680$ with 3 months warranty.
I also bought the silver Casemate cover for 24$ from Virgin Megastore.

1 - I checked at Virgin and Amhaz and didn't find a screen protector. Did anyone buy a screen protector and from where?
2 - I activated WAP and it worked fine for browser and weather application, other applications are slow and don't work, connection error. Do you think FB for android and navigation maps can work fine?
3 - Anyone using Galaxy S2 or iPhone 4 with postpaid internet data plans?
Got my htc sensantion from amhaz bir l abed at 570$ ,super phone to say the least! About the death grip , yes IT DOES EXCIST but if you are close to the router ( in the same room) no grip on planet earth will make it lose it's signal!
Ps: how can i get this thing to read arabic?
570$??
I asked yesterday and it was 540$
Death grip is a problem if using the office or sports club wifi...
As well as still no root.
So I did a good choice with SGS2

1- I am using a screen protector made for htc hd2, it may partially cover the front camera but hey who cares:P and it doesn't feel weird or anything like that it works just fine
2- I suggest getting an offline map for your navigation needs, whereas FB will probably be slow...it is WAP!
3- I am waiting for the GPRS to be activated on my line, it should be fuctional between 17 and 24 of this month but you cant be sure in this country:P
Are the batteries use time of Galaxy S2 short?
I have to charge my mobile once everyday.
I do charge my phone everytime I go to sleep...in my perspective, as long as your battery can serve your daily usage for one day a charge, it is long enough!
P.S: I did manage to stay on the same charge for two days is I dont play lot;s of games or use the internet alot, so it is fine:)
