to my understanding, it is very normal for a phone this thin to feel hotter than other devices, however alot of users reported an overheating, till a point where they cant touch the phone anymore, and it seemed that a major cause is the software, since those who reported this issue had a KE2 version, and once updated to KE7 the heating was significantly reduced to an acceptable point, and as mentioned earlier it is only normal to be hotter than other since we feel the direct dissipation of heat through our hands with phones this thin.
Now beside the heating, did you ever had to restart your phone or had any software issue? Is this right now the smatphone to have or you wouldn't recommand it?

No other phone issues except for terrible battery life :P. Now to be fair I do have some services running in background but I don't think they should consume that much battery. For example, I installed the Go Launcher Ex (replacing TouchWiz Launcher). In addition, I installed WidgetLocker and NoLED apps. No issues that required reboot and no software freezes or crashes.
As I previously stated, this is my first Android phone. I would recommend it to people if battery life is not really a big concern to them. Other than that, the phone has an amazing screen. It's really fast and smooth even with all the custom services/apps I have running. However, if someone already has a recent phone like the Nexus S or Incredible S then I don't really see a point in upgrading to the S2 unless you absolutely must have the latest phone :P.

i called class , they have samsung galaxy s 2 for 765$ , don't have the sensation...
htc desire HD for 500$ , incredible s for 540$
the samsung cost a 100$ more than amhaz! that's a big number ...

600$ the price is really good, i sold my old galaxy s for 250 so i only paid 350 $ making it a great upgrade

i know all bout the death grip, it was the first thing i tested when i powered the phone for the first time. i did some tests and i can tell you the death grip does exist but, the effect is very minimal on the device in terms of wifi, compared to the galaxy s i had, the sensation is MUCH better, i can pick up wifi signals in my room something i was not able to do on the galaxy s, but with the sensation its all ways connected in my room sometimes even when covering the entire back panel. so over all death grip is a bit over exasperated and i found it much better then the galaxy s in terms of wifi.
also worth noticing that there is a performance mode in the wifi settings that helps improve the connection, but it eats bit more battery

the phone is very snappy zero lag when messing around with the phone. sense 3.0 with gingerbread is very cool, i really like the animations and the 3D effect they used. over all the phone is really nice i only have a problem with battery life which is not that good i pulled the phone off charger today morning at 7 and now i got home with only 20% of battery, but i have been using the phone all the time in uni and connected to the wifi. i hope with custom roms this problem could be sorted out.

I've heard from a couple of people that AMHAZ replaces the original batteries with fake ones... I don't bear any responsibility for this rumor, but this might explain the low battery life that people are getting for HTC sensation and GSII.
I also saw that CLASS has GSII for 675$ any update on the price at AMHAZ ?

Amhaz give you the phone in the factory sealed box. did you know how many phone he have ? if he have to change all the batterys and reseal all the boxes he needs to hire lot of people to do this so he will lose money. plus what he is going to do with all those batteries. i think it's like the chinese motherboards story.

when you hold it in landscape mode and you are a little bit far from the router the wifi signal will be lost totally ?

i looked for covers at khoury home, amhaz, and a few random pc and mobile shops; no covers at the moment.
i also tried to find some micro usb to usb plug to use a flash disk with the phone, still didnt find any.
anyone knows where we can get that stuff?

today I checked in "safa Issa" shop in tripoly
he is a samsung dealer so he got the Galaxy SII with garantee and special gifts such as 3 months free internet and lebanes navigation map and bluetooth earphone and free applications, all that for 800$ so it is a very good deal... than I asked about he availability of covers, he said in 3 weeks an order of casemate will be available in lebanon so before that I dont think we'll find any cases or any other accessories.
