i have seen reviews of both phones and they both preform badly in sunlight, but i guess most phones dont do well in direct sunlight. whats pushing me toward HTC is that they unlocked the bootloader, so you will get tons of custom roms and kernels which means unlimited modding.

I am waiting for the GSM Arena review, they are the only ones to be scientific.
The other reviews are giving opposing results about the Sensation, specially about the battery...

HTC announced that they will keep future bootloaders unlocked after the release of the Sensation, so according to what I've read here and there people are confused if this "unlocking" will start with future batches of Sensation or future phones.

Anyone has confirmed info about the GS2 bootloader, didn't find something clear searching

It seems to be confirmed (by XDA devs: https://twitter.com/#!/ChainfireXDA/status/63561057419005952) that the Galaxy S 2 bootloader is unlocked. You are right about the Sensation. It's still not clear if future updates might unlock the bootloader.

There have been lot's of rumors about a possible release of the GSM HTC Evo 3D in the UK by July

apart a slight feeling of 3D I don't think its worth to wait for Evo 3D, it's weight is 170g...even more than the DHD!!!
SGS2 is rooted for a long time ;)
Sensation will be available on 15th June so 1 week late, perhaps because HTC is unlocking them...

@Bij, even if you buy a HTC sensation or EVO 3D with locked bootloader, you wil still be able to unlock them in the future, once the Keys are out, it would be matter of days until the bootloaders are unlocked.

Wouldn't it be nice to be the first to have the new HTC SENSE 3.0? Head for the Sensation guys and forgett Samsung.

vegetaleb, the Optimus 2x they have is the LG global one and the one from T Mobile, right? If so, I guess it's the one that comes with LG's terrible skin.

Yes it is a deal killer.. it is actually the loss of WIFI signal remarkably when putting your hand on a specific part of the phone ( mainly at the back)

its only when you lay it on your hand, normal grip doesnt have an effect on it, but when you lay the device flat on your hand the signal will be reduced because you are covering the wireless antenna completely. i dont think its an issue since no one lays the phone flat on their hands, and its not like the iphone 4 where the mobile signal drops its only for wifi, and bluetooth

well when you grab it in a landscape mode you will block those areas...
i hate the fact that i have to live with samsung touchwiz @@ i hope they fix this so we will have the sensationnnnn

End users of Sensation didn't confirm this bug so it could be a pre-release model bug.
I never tried markavip so I don't know if the price includes delivery
