i have seen reviews of both phones and they both preform badly in sunlight, but i guess most phones dont do well in direct sunlight. whats pushing me toward HTC is that they unlocked the bootloader, so you will get tons of custom roms and kernels which means unlimited modding.

HTC announced that they will keep future bootloaders unlocked after the release of the Sensation, so according to what I've read here and there people are confused if this "unlocking" will start with future batches of Sensation or future phones.

It seems to be confirmed (by XDA devs: https://twitter.com/#!/ChainfireXDA/status/63561057419005952) that the Galaxy S 2 bootloader is unlocked. You are right about the Sensation. It's still not clear if future updates might unlock the bootloader.

There have been lot's of rumors about a possible release of the GSM HTC Evo 3D in the UK by July
apart a slight feeling of 3D I don't think its worth to wait for Evo 3D, it's weight is 170g...even more than the DHD!!!

@Bij, even if you buy a HTC sensation or EVO 3D with locked bootloader, you wil still be able to unlock them in the future, once the Keys are out, it would be matter of days until the bootloaders are unlocked.

End users of Sensation didn't confirm this bug so it could be a pre-release model bug.
