Kassem wroteHey MSD,
I wanted to start iPhone development as well. I setup a Hackintosh on my HP Laptop a while back before it died (due to over-heat during the summer). Now I got it fixed (replaced the graphics card), but I cannot boot into Mac OSX for some reason (I'm assuming some kexts got messed up or something).
But anyway, I would definitely be interested if you would give a talk about iPhone development using Objective-C. I have a basic knowledge/understanding of Objective-C and XCode, and it would be nice to hear more about it and actually see some live demonstration.
Off-topic: would you mind sharing the Virtual Machine you're using for your iOS development?
As I said, I am still learning, I could prepare something if there is enough interest (which would be even more of a motivation for me to study).
Concerning the VM Image, it is on my desktop and it is big (50 GB including snapshots, I don't know how to remove snapshots), I have an external disk (one of those old bulky ones _a regular HDD in a box), I'll see if it works. The problem with the presentation is that I have no laptop, if someone has a laptop with VMWare 7.0 (and 50 GB of space) it would help.
If anyone has any suggestions, feel free.
